The first time I heard about this activity, my excitement was beyond words. And also be curious about how it really works. I tried to meet different recipient's expectations, so l spent large quantity of time picking postcards. Besides, I even made postcards with my own hands.

For instance, this is one of my handmade postcards!

I made a birthday card for Vanessa.

I felt a great sense of achievement as l got her reply.

Therefore, I think this project is meaningful! It gives me a chance to interact with people in the world by means of sending and receiving postcards. What's more, it is so exciting. Because we don't exactly know how the next postcard we receive will be like.

This June, I got a postcard in the envelope.  

To my amazement, a ticket which cost 2.5 Euro was enclosed herewith.

I was so surprised because I didn't know the person who sent it to me. But he sent me, who is a stranger to him, a free ticket. How kind he is! I was not only amazed but felt very grateful for his generosity and kindness.

Consequently, every time I receive a postcard, I cannot help reading the greetings from the person who sent it to me. It is interesting that every postcard is unique. These postcards which l have received have different pictures and handwriting. The most important of all, they are from different people. Although we may not keep in touch with each other, I am fond of receiving all sorts of greetings in the world. I enjoy watching these postcards in my free time. They comfort me a lot and also broaden my horizon.

It seems that I get closer to this world by Postcrossing!
